According to the Charlotte Observer, Carolina Panthers quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey interviewed for the Bills vacant offensive coordinator position Wednesday.

Dorsey and new Bills head coach Sean McDermott were on the same staff in Carolina for the past four seasons.  Panthers QB Cam Newton won the NFL MVP in 2015, the same season the team went to the Super Bowl.

Dorsey led the University of Miami (FL) to the 2001 national championship compiling a school-best 38-2 record as a starter.  He was a Heisman Trophy finalist in both 2001 and 2002.

Dorsey played in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and Panthers, and had a brief stint in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts.
