All systems appear ready to go for Allen's return

After five weeks of watching on the sidelines, as well as rest and rehabilitation of his injured elbow, it appears Josh Allen is ready to take the field again for the Buffalo Bills.

Head coach Sean McDermott told the media Friday morning that Allen would be the team’s starting quarterback when they face the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday as long as he “got through the day,” meaning as long as there were no setbacks, Allen would be under center.

A few hours later when the final injury report was released for the game, Allen was listed as a full participant and didn’t even have an injury designation next to his name.  That means all systems appear ready to go for the rookie QB to make his return to the lineup.

While it’s almost a certainly Allen is going to start, the same cannot be said for several other key players.  Here is the team’s official Friday practice participation report, as well as the game status for each player:

Both teams are 3-7 and will kickoff at 1 p.m. Sunday at New Era Field.  You can hear all the action on WGR.
