Bills - Cowboys First Quarter

November 28, 2019 - 5:17 pm

The Buffalo Bills are playing in Thanksgiving action for the first time since 1994.

Buffalo looks to have a better result than last time, but have work to do, as they trail the Dallas Cowboys 7-0 after the first quarter.

Dallas took the opening drive down the field for a touchdown, with a big screen pass from Dak Prescott to Ezekiel Elliott being the driving force to set up a quick pass from Prescott to Jason Witten to open the scoring at 7-0.

Buffalo's offense couldn't get in much of a groove to start out, with just 48 yards in the opening quarter on their first two drives.

Scoring Summary

First Quarter:

  • 7-0 COWBOYS - Cowboys touchdown - Dak Prescott 8 yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten (extra point is good)
    • Drive info: 9 plays, 75 yards, 4:26
