Pryor signed with an AFC East rival this offseason, the New York Jets. However, Pryor was released after six games due to injury, lack of production and usage in the Jets offense. Pryor had 14 receptions for 235 yards and two touchdowns in his six games with the Jets this season. He was released on October 20 after sustaining a groin injury.

Pryor's stats would make him the third best receiver on the Bills in only six games. Zay Jones has 25 receptions for 281 yards and one touchdown, while Kelvin Benjamin also has just one touchdown and 262 receiving yards on 16 catches.

Pryor has also played for the Redskins, Browns and Raiders in his 8 year career. Originally drafted as a quarterback by the Raiders in the 2011 Supplemental Draft, Pryor switched to receiver pemanantly in 2015 when he signed with the Browns.

The Bills released cornerback Dontae Johnson in order to make room for Pryor on the roster.
