After the Pro Football Writers Association announced their All-NFL Team on Monday, which included Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White, they released their All-Rookie Team on Tuesday with another Bills defensive player featured.

The PFWA listed Bills rookie defensive tackle Ed Oliver as one of four defensive linemen on their All-Rookie Team for the 2019 NFL season.

The 22-year-old had a strong first season in the NFL with the Bills after being selected out of Houston with the ninth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Oliver was able to appear in all 16 regular season games this season, starting seven of them while registering 43 combined tackles, five sacks, five tackles for loss, eight quarterback hits, two passes defended and a forced fumble.

Arguably his best game of the season came in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day when Oliver registered four combined tackles, two sacks, a pass defended, a quarterback hit and a forced fumble. For his performance, Oliver was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week.

Also on Tuesday, Oliver posted on his social media accounts that he underwent offseason surgery. It is not known, at this time, what he had surgery on, but Oliver says he hopes for a speedy recovery.
