Gameday: Bills in another defensive struggle, scoreless after 1st quarter

November 04, 2018 - 1:40 pm

The Buffalo Bills look to end a three game losing streak against the Chicago Bears. In another defensive struggle, the teams are scoreless after the first quarter.

Nathan Peterman is starting under center for the Bills and is known for throwing interceptions at a terrifying rate. However, Peterman is clean from any turnovers so far, but is also only 3-of-5 for 15 yards. LeSean McCoy is struggling again on the ground, with three carries for no yards.

The Bills defense has been solid once again, holding Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky to 56 yards on 4-of-6 passing in the first quarter. Buffalo also forced a fumble of Trubisky, forcing Chicago out of field goal range. Bears running back Jordan Howard leads the Bears rushers with 16 yards on 6 carries.
