Gamenight: Sabres trail Wild 2-1 after one period

Minnesota winger Zach Parise got the party started early on home ice, as he capitalized on a Buffalo Sabre defensive turnover just four minutes into the game. Less than four minutes after Parise's tally, Wild defenseman Matt Dumba potted a powerplay tally to make it 2-0; already his 8th goal on the blue line.

After a short powerplay expired, Rasmus Dahlin and Jake McCabe hooked up for a slick goal late in the first period. Both defenders crept up into the play and McCabe deposited the Dahlin feed past Minnesota goaltender Devan Dubnyk.

Check back throughout night for all scoring updates, as the blue and gold look achieve something that has eluded them since March of 2012; a five-game win streak.
