Howard Picks the Bills: Week 3

September 17, 2019 - 9:57 am

For the first time since 2014, the Buffalo Bills are 2-0 to start a season after a 28-14 win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

This Sunday, the Bills will look to improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2011 against the Cincinnati Bengals at New Era Field.

The Bengals enter Sunday's contest looking for their first win of the season after losses to the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers to kick off their 2019 season.

The Bills' recent history against Cincinnati has not been so good with losses in four of their last five matchups. Buffalo's last win over the Bengals came in the 2016 season with a 16-12 win in Cincinnati. However, the Bills' last meeting with the Bengals resulted in a 20-16 loss at Paul Brown Stadium the next year.

Despite the outcome of the last five games between the two clubs, Howard Simon is feeling confident in the Bills' chances on Sunday.

Howard is a perfect 2-for-2 with his picks after taking the Giants in his Week 2 edition of "Howard Picks the Bills." Just like last week, Howard has been certain throughout the year that the Bills are bound to beat the Bengals in the home opener in Orchard Park.

However, this week has Howard upping Buffalo's win total by one, improving the Bills to 11-5 for the first time in nearly three years.
