Jordan Phillips will apparently be back with the Bills, according to his own tweet.

NYUpstate has reported that it will be a one-year deal for Phillips, who was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 13.

The former second round pick of the Dolphins was released by Miami back in October after clashing with their coaching staff. In Buffalo, he immediately brought a bunch of energy with him as a rotational player on the defensive line, playing in 10 games, collecting 19 tackles, including two for a loss, three pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.

The 26-year old stated from the start of the offseason that he’d like to come back to Buffalo, and Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane said last week at the NFL Combine that the team was interested in retaining him.  It appears both sides were able to come to an agreement, although nothing has been confirmed by the team yet.

With DT Phillips reportedly resigning with the Bills, that leaves the team with the following pending free agents:

OL - Ryan Groy
OT - Jordan Mills
OG - John Miller
RB/ST - Taiwan Jones
WR - Deonte Thompson

TE - Logan Thomas

Exclusive Rights
DE - Eddie Yarbrough
P - Matt Darr

ESPN reported Monday that the team has tendered Yarbrough, retaining his rights for 2019.
