There appears to be some good news and bad news with Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy.

Let's start with the bad news...

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, McCoy suffered some fractured ribs during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at New Era Field.

What's the good news, you say?

Rapoport says that McCoy's injury is not one that does not necessarily keep him out of game action, and he will attempt to play through the injury.

#Bills RB LeSean McCoy suffered fractured ribs during yesterday’s loss to the #Chargers, source said. It’s an injury that does not necessarily rule him out for Week 3, though. He’ll attempt to play through it.

The 30-year-old suffered the injury during the third quarter of Sunday's loss when he was tackled on a run play to the right by Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman. After McCoy was tackled, Bills center Ryan Groy was pushed back into McCoy and he landed on top of his running back. McCoy remained down on the field for a bit, but was able to return to the game on a limited basis.

McCoy finished the day rushing for just 39 yards on nine carries.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott will address the media on Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. You can hear the press conference live on WGR.
