Report: NFL to cut the preseason in half

July 01, 2020 - 4:23 pm

Sports leagues around the world have been canceling games since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in the spring. The National Football League, to this point, has not had to do that, due to their fall schedule. Now it looks like they're eliminating a couple of preseason games.

If the games being scrapped do turn out to be the matchups in Weeks 1 and 4, the Bills would have two home games and no road games in the preseason. Those matchups were August 14th at Baltimore, and September 3rd at Detroit.

It is unclear at this point, whether one of those road games will be moved in place of the Bills home preseason games versus Indianapolis and Atlanta.

Stay tuned to WGR550 as details come in.
