Foster was released on Thursday in favor of Cam Phillips, who was promoted from the Bills practice squad. Foster has played in all 6 games for the Bills this season, but only has 3 catches on the year for 30 yards.

Both Foster (from Alabama) and Phillips (Virginia Tech) were added to the Bills this offseason as undrafted rookie free agents. Foster made the 53-man roster out of training camp, while Phillips wound up on the Bills practice squad.
