The Sabres add a college free agent

Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - The Sabres have inked college free agent forward Andrew Oglevie. The junior from Notre Dame made the NCAA All-Tournament Team this season, scoring three goals and four assists for seven points in four games.

Oglevie comes out after his junior season after picking up 39 points in 36 games. In his sophomore year, he had 21 goals and 41 points in 40 games.

The Irish played in the National Championship game, losing to Minnesota-Duluth.

Oglevie gets a two-year entry-level contract. He will not go to Rochester, and will stay at Notre Dame to finish up school.
