Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - The King Clancy Trophy is given every year by the NHL to the player who “best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”

Each team nominates a player with Rob Ray being the only Sabre to win the award back in 1999.

This season, the Sabres nominated Zach Bogosian for his work with his “Bogo Bunch Foundation.”

The three finalists will be revealed on April 30.
