Sabres to play seven times on national television

The Buffalo Sabres will be featured on national television seven times for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

The NHL announced the entire national telecast schedule on Monday, which includes the Sabres to play seven games on NBC and NBCSN. This is one less game than last season when the Sabres were featured on national television eight times.

Buffalo will first play on NBCSN on Tuesday, October 24 when the Sabres host the Detroit Red Wings at KeyBank Center at 7 p.m. The following night, the Sabres will be featured on Wednesday Night Rivalry when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets from Nationwide Arena at 8 p.m.

The highlight game for the Sabres' national telecast schedule takes place on Monday, January 1 at the Bridgestone Winter Classic. Buffalo will take on the New York Rangers on the 10th anniversary of the very first Winter Classic, which was played at New Era Field in Orchard Park against the Pittsburgh Penguins. This year's game will take place from Citi Field in Queens, N.Y. on NBC.

Tuesday, December 19: Sabres vs. Bruins - 7 p.m. (NBCSN)
Monday, January 1: Sabres vs. Rangers - 1 p.m. (NBC)
Thursday, January 18: Sabres @ Rangers - 7 p.m. (NBCSN)
Monday, March 5: Sabres vs. Maple Leafs - 7 p.m. (NBCSN)
